Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has again stressed the importance of a big transfer budget for the summer market.
Even though many fans believe he might be gone this summer, he insists he is still planning for another campaign – and will demand £60million from new chairman Martin Broughton.
He said: “I could meet him this week. I don’t know his agenda. I have enough things to do in terms of football but we will discuss everything.
“I will talk about players. We were so close last year that we know that this year we could do better and we need three or four players.
“Jamie Carragher was talking about three or four and Fernando Torres was talking about four or five.
“We will need to improve with these players. After that we can talk about prices in the market but we have a new chairman and we can discuss everything.”
