Benitez intends to see out contract

Juventus have given Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez a ten-day deadline to decide if he wants to take charge of the Serie A giants next season.
Benitez's agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, dismissed reports that he met with Juve president Jean-Claude Blanc in Milan on Monday, but his client remains top of the Bianconeri's wanted list.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Juventus remain "90%" confident of landing their man and widespread reports on Wednesday claim that a meeting between the two parties did take place.
Liverpool, currently lying in sixth place in the Premier League, are likely to miss out on Champions League football following a hugely disappointing season and are not expected to fight off any approach for Benitez.
Juventus have endured a similarly poor season and are under the stewardship of their second manager this year since sacking Claudio Ranieri, now leading Serie A with AS Roma, in May.
Alberto Zaccheroni replaced Ciro Ferrara in Turin and will guide the club through to the end of the season, but not beyond. Whoever replaces Zaccheroni could be handed transfer funds of around £70 million.
Such a transfer budget may prove hugely alluring to Benitez, who has consistently complained about not having enough money to spend at Anfield.
"We have been wheeling and dealing for six years but, if we continue to do that, it will be very difficult to stay at the level everyone is expecting," Benitez reiterated last week.
Meanwhile, Spanish daily Marca have been tipping Benitez to take over at Real Madrid for next season and the Liverpool boss was voted the favourite to succeed Manuel Pellegrini in a poll by the newspaper .

but they'll be soon kicking themselves for hiring Rafa...............
maybe Juve enjoyed bullying the other teams in Serie B the last time they were down there and they're trying to re-visit Serie B....................

Rafael Benitez intends to see out his contract at Liverpool but his future is dependent on the club's financial situation.
His agent, agent Manuel Garcia Quillon, has confirmed Benitez has no plans to leave before his deal expires in 2014 but said he could reconsider if he is not given funds to rebuild the squad."The intention of Benitez is to fulfil the contract that he has with Liverpool until 2014 but it's true that the club is subject to fluctuations in their financial situation," Quillon said. "They could influence the future of the club and therefore Benitez as well."
Quillon also claimed an unnamed Chinese investor was interested in buying out co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett and keeping Benitez on as manager.
"The Chinese have an interest because they have called Rafa and told him that their condition for buying the club is that he continues as coach."
Both Juventus and Real Madrid have been linked with Benitez but, while Quillon has said the Spaniard is still a candidate for some top jobs around Europe, he said there been no talks about him leaving Liverpool and added in AS: "For now, Madrid have not made a move to sign him."
Meanwhile, Martin Skrtel could return to full training next week after six weeks on the sidelines with a broken foot.
"I had another scan so that my doctors could be absolutely sure that everything was okay," he said. "They were satisfied with what they saw.
"It means that I can spend my time on the running machine from now on. It is a bit rigid but I hope that I can start working with the ball next week."
