a fair result, i guess, given liverpool's form and reading's steadfastness. liverpool really should have done better. maybe we will get `lucky' again in the extras....
i can sense more disgruntled reds fans here, but i am still backing rafa.
the 09/10 season is really forgettable. a write-off in fact. my only wish is that man u dun win the epl title and take bragging rights from us.

Reading leading 2-1 at Anfield now ....They deserved it ... they has been playing like Premiership team .

Still dunno how the fuck Insua to allow Gunnarson to go past him and cross a good ball into the box and Long scored .

After resting so long , Rafa still chose to rest Gerrard and Torres .Yes Gerrard and Torres not playing ...
Also Reina , someone that no need to do much running , Rafa gave him some extra holiday off .

a victory agaist liverpool nowadays is considered nothing, because it's not difficult at all.

From high expectation to low expectation, now it is zero expectation.
I am still puzzled why there are people who are backing Ah Ben after obtaining lousy and disgraceful results for so many weeks.
5 seasons would be enough for him to learn all about his opponents and develop a decent team to challenge for the title.
Now, although we have the people to play, we are always given the impression that they are not good enough or is it the manager is useless in motivating them to play above themselves.
My conclusion is that Ah Ben is simply useless in making full use of his avaliable players and even given him with the good player, he will put them to waste.
It is painful to see Liverpool rot further due to the stubbornness and uselessness of the management and the manager.
He have promised the FA cup and now we have none.
He have promised the top four and we have ????

The players are losing confidence over themselves and Ah Ben.
I think they are so weak that they need a buddy system to go to the loo.
As for Maxi, he will be kept in the Anfield fridge like Aquaman and used next season.
With Ah Ben, even if you give him David Villa, he will turn villa into a zero.

As for Rafa, yes, he does the team talk, but do rem, he picks the players, the plays, and importantly the tatics. Yes, the players' peformance comes into play, but whether they are able to perform will still boils down to the puppet-master.
The only thing that the manager can't control is the tempo, and maybe the referees but other than that, they are able to stand in the technical area to direct and do any immediate changes. Furthermore, he is also not alone, he got many people surrounding him that aid him, the coaches, the physios.So he got many pairs of eyes/ears to aid him.
So for me, he has to take at least 75% of credit/blame.

Rafa has got the backing of the 2 Americans , his job is the safest on the earth .
The 2 Americans need him .
These 2 Americans knew nothing about football , they only know money .
And they know Rafa is the man not only commanding the players on the pitch , many more things they need Rafa , like purchasing and negoitiate terms for contract .
