yes these 2 men are greedy bastards. enriching themselves and ruining the club by selling the club to the 2 yankees. if the 2 yankees are that rich, why bother to find another partner isnt it. its precisely they are rich, but not rich enough with deep pockets to buy and own the club outright that they partnered each other.
if the sheik took over instead of the yankees, rafa can afford to spend 50m every seasons.
its ok lah
not as bad as portsmouth
but almost there

cannot compare portsmouth lar. portsmouth capacity crowd attendance below 20,000 right?
liverpool are england kingpins in winning european cup/CL 5 times winners and 2 times Uefa cup winners. plus 18 times league title winners leh. portsmouth won 1 fa cup nia last season.
they certainly don't look that way under rafa anymore
i initially wanted to comment early on, to get rid of rafa.
then i remember, liverpool can't afford to.
so now i'm just thinking how much more mud the management are gonna drag the team through.

ever since kenny resigned in 1991, which managers then and now look like challenging for the title? rafa almost won it last season, the closest they came winning the title. rafa also won CL, so he is the most successful manager since kenny. houllier also did not do badly, he won the uefa cup, fa cup and league cup in 2001.
I watched the post match interview given by benitez and he blamed everything but his substitution of Torres (who was baffled by the decision) and Yossi Benayourn (who was also baffled and muttered some curse to himself).
How can he take out the best striker when the game is at 1-1?
How can he take out the last remaining creative player (yossi) when the team is 2-1 down?
What was benitez thinking????????????????????
Nobody knw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By doing that... he seems to given up on winning the match!!!
At this rate, liverpool fans can forget about winning the EPL.
I absolutely LOL at his facial expression when he gave that interview.

even before this match, liverpool is already out of the title. now this defeat shows that liverpool might not even finish top 4 and may not qualify for UEFA cup, never mind CL next season.

More bad news to come, George Gillett apparently held talks with a rich guy called prince faisal who's part of the saudi royalty.. but the talks has broken down due to GG quoting a fecking incredible price for each lot of LFC's share...

they are not even dark horses this time round
yet another toopid 1st team shit from rafa
simply poor even tho we fielded many 2nd stringers!
rafa is answerable to tis; so are the players!
How are we going to win the title? I just don't see anyone keen to win it. Looks like a season of NO silverware again. :(

win league title? are you kidding me?
now liverpool dunno can even finish top 4 and qualify for CL next season or not
just for discussion sake, if Rafa is sacked, will a new manager come in and be able to raise the level/quality of the players? cause there seems to be two issues, the inadaptness of Rafa, and the quality of the players.
Qn -> Will Rafa leaving, improve the latter?Who else is there?
hmm, there seems to be another issues, the owners. The two Owners are moving around in Middle East, trying to source for rich to buy over the club. However, I read, there seems to be the debt, plus the need for new players, and a new stadium, and that seems to be compilcated compared to the straight forward buy of MCity. hence the bottleneck.

the new stadium can wait
e main thing is, if LFC don't perform now, it could be another Leeds in e making!
imagine e $ they would have lost if they are not in e CL
This match was going to be tricky when I saw that Gerrard wasnt playing and Lucas was playing.
