Rumour: Heskey in January?

So Heskey's being rumoured to be an interest of Benitez, this coming January and I have to say that I am quite shocked to even be reading of it.
Like come on, how many goals has the fella scored? His goal scoring rates for his club has been dwindling over the years. He's not getting any younger (noone is anyway) and despite his strong and powerful playing style, I doubt he'll get the Reds any farther than if we signed Ade Akinbiyi. Oh, by the way, Akinbiyi has scored more club goals (136 so far) than Heskey (110 and...)!
Speechless.

if ever, he wasnt brought to score goals but rather to help torres and gerrard score more.

Heskey wants to play regularly because of the coming World Cup.
If he comes to Liverpool, Rafa might not even play him, quite like the situation now with Voronin or Babel.

We need a british style Centre forward , someone like Crouch , Heskey , Zigic , Carew , Carlton Cole ....... not many available though .

since Crouch left us , we haven't fill up that hole yet , and we have problems dealing with team like Villa , who has at least 7 six-footers in the team .

Heskey and Mouse both wanted appearance so that they can play world cup.
As for the mouse, his intention is clear since day one that he want a world cup and dun really care about club actions.
As for Heskey, if he is hungry, why not bring him back for some entertainment ?
I guess he is much better than voronin.
This is allow stevie to be put back to center midfield.

Ooh, guess what, there's no space for Heskey here. Not even the bench, ;cos it's all bout quick passing and lightning movements, but wait, I sense that Benitez will be fearful of playing all guns ablazing, thus he'll revert to a 4-5-1 formation, which he refers to as a 4-1-1. Sigh.
