not exactly in my thoughts.
with or without lucas, liverpool's midfield look shaggy.
made even worse when facing the likes of lampard, essien.
i expect joe cole to be playing some part in this game, maybe starting on the bench first.
the loss against wigan over the weekend will somehow prove to be confident booster for chelsea, it's a good thing to suffer early game setbacks, this will push the players.

Chelsea in trouble ....
Cos we lost 0-2 to Fiorentina , and we will bounce back .

Fabio Aurelio is confident Liverpool can bounce back from their Fiorentina defeat when they take on Chelsea in a top of the table clash on Sunday.
The Brazilian defender admits the 2-0 loss in Florence was difficult to take but feels they cannot dwell on the past and is eager to make amends at Stamford Bridge.
"We would have hoped for a better result here, but we can't think about that now and must think about the future," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We have an important game in the Barclays Premier League against Chelsea on Sunday and we must try to make things right.
"Football is like this. You cannot think in the past, you must always look to the future. Hopefully it will be a different game and we can go there and get a result."
A poor first-half in the Stadio Artemio Franchi proved to be Liverpool's undoing as Stevan Jovetic's brace earned the points for La Viola.
The Reds improved after the break and, although they went close to reducing the arrears, Aurelio admits the players are frustrated by the result.
"I think it was a game of two halves," he said.
"In the first-half, Fiorentina started really well and we struggled to play and keep the ball. It meant we were under pressure and made mistakes.
"In the second-half we started differently. Maybe they weren't as strong as they had been and it allowed us to manage the game better.
"We were able to create chances but unfortunately we didn't take them and couldn't put the pressure on.
"We are very disappointed with the result." -

it's still too too far early o conclude the season .
Cos u'll never know who and when which player can get injured , u'll never know when the team can run oto a slump of bad form , and u'll never know when we hit top form .
Still quite unpredictable .
This match is not one-off , so .....

This Sunday , it depends on whether Liverpool want it or not ....
I think after this match , we'll have a one week international break , cos 11th October no matches .
But Ocotober we'll have consecutive tough matches after 11th , playing Sunderland , play Lyon , then omg Man Utd during this congested fixtures , then 3 days later playing Gunners ( Carling Cup ) . And Fulham away .

so i think Chelsea really in trouble , we dun did badly when our next opponent is to be play 2 weeks later .
Usually we did good .
We usually did badly before or after UCL , cos Rafa kept tinkering with the squad .

Last time Ah Ben got powerful reserves to tinker with.
His main team is already weak.
Tinkering weak with lousy players does not make any difference.
There is no advantage for Liverpool in this match as Liverpool have already lost the midfield advantage and coupled with leaking defence.
Unless he can buy some one that make a difference in midfield, Liverpool have to prepare for another trophyless season.
Given sufficient time and money, he already screwed up in August so I am not expecting any surprise from him.

its sad that an average player like lucas can play in liverpool first team. really a throwback to the teams of the 70s and 80s, whereby every players are worthy of wearing the jersey. players like insua, lucas and aurelio are not worthy of the jersey.
