Liverpool today confirmed the sale of midfielder Ryan Flynn to Scottish Premier League side Falkirk.
The 20-year-old Scot was on a season-long loan with The Bairns but the deal has now been made permanent.
Flynn, who originally joined the Academy from Falkirk in 2006, was a key part of our successive FA Youth Cup wins, scoring in the final against Man City in 2006 and bagging three goals during the 2007 campaign.
He also helped the second string to league glory in 2007-08.
The youngster had yet to make his senior competitive debut for Liverpool, though featured in several pre-season friendlies. -
Liverpool's Academy have confirmed the signing of Southend United youngster Michael Ngoo.
The 16-year-old has agreed scholarship terms with the Reds following a successful trial at the club's Kirkby base.
Ngoo made a winning start to life with Liverpool after playing 67 minutes of the under-18s' 2-0 victory over Barnsley on Saturday. -

We need quality players who can stauy at Liverpool and show they can win EPL matches with teh 1st team. these guys are from reserve not good enough. someone with quality kike torres, Benayoun, Babel e.t.c. Liverpool problem is the defense. they concede many goals in sert piece the defenders are short so cannot challenge tall opponents. Midfield problem is Mascherano not focussed. No replacement for alonso. all other teams has improved.

Liverpool Preparing €49m Bid For Valencia Forward David VillaLiverpool boss Rafa Benitez has urged the club's owners to make funds available in order to secure the transfer of David Villa from Spanish Primera Division side Valencia.
Villa was courted by both Barcelona and Real Madrid during the summer but while the Blaugrana eventually opted to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Inter Milan, Los Blancos signed Karim Benzema from Lyon.
The Spanish international was thought to be devastated at failing to secure a move away from the Mestalla but now it seems that a move to the Premier League could be an option.
Former Valencia coach Rafael Benitez has earmarked Villa as the type of player who can take Liverpool to the next level and has approached George Gillett and Tom Hicks to provide him with a suitable transfer budget to secure a deal for the striker.
The Sunday People suggests that a fee in the region of €49m would be enough to persuade Valencia to part with their prized asset, who scored 28 goals in La Liga last season.
If the move were to go through, then it would unite the strikeforce of the Spanish national team as Fernando Torres currently plays in the Premier League for the Reds. -

I hope Ah Ben can bring johnson forward to replace Kuyt cos he is leaking goal during defence.
Kuyt is hardworking but useless in creating chances.
As for the transfer in Jan 10, I guess Ah Ben will make his squad weaker by selling the players that are useful.
He cannot offload the players that he bought and that are worthless.
Liverpool is not playing CL so RVN may not be keen to come over.

He should be featured in the next Batman movie as the Joker.

I will be very sad if this would be the demise of a great club. I liked Leeds alot last time as well, but they were sadly, relegated due to the financial problems.With so little funds available, it somehow looks like Liverpool are walking down the same path. I hope not. A takeover would definitely be welcomed with a major change in personnel, even if it means taking a few seasons of rebuilding. You'll never walk alone.
Looking on the bright side, I think loan deals of RVN and VDV would be good if wages permits and the players themselves are willing to come. Alot of you pool fans already resign to the fate that we cant afford anyone.

Buying a few star players do not change the team immediately.
The issue is that Ah Ben is unable to utilise the players that he have to achieve a victory.
He is suffering from severe ball-lessness and player injury phobia.
He will stick with Losers like Kuyt and Lucas even if he is given Ronaldo.
Just look at Babel, he is putting him to waste.

I've said many times , even my 9 year old son felt why Liverpool kept pumping the balls into the box when our players so short !!!
We need a towering forward upfront after Crouch left .
We need Heskey type , or Carew now .
Even if we can get Lucas Toni , i dun mind .
As long as someone can torment opposition's defense inside the box .

Only Torres and Benny can hold the ball in the 6 yard box.
Kuyt do not go inside 6 yard box except for taking corners.
The rest of the Liverpool players treat the ball like a bomb.
Once disposed, they will happily stay in their position and shake leg.
Expect nothing from this Liverpool team cos they smell heavily like a bunch of losers.
