As part of Liverpool's tour of Asia, the club are looking to build a legacy here in Asia that will last longer than the couple of days the squad spends in each country.
The Reds have put in place a knowledge transfer programme that will see its manager Rafa Benitez share his experience with local coaches, while the club's commercial representatives and sports science team will share with their counterparts in the Football Association of Singapore today, as they did in Bangkok with the Thai football association.
But Ayre revealed yesterday that there will be more, and not just for those involved in the national football set-up.
"It's impossible to create a legacy in four days, but the idea is to provide as much access to Liverpool and its contents, over the next year and beyond," he told TODAY.
"We've been developing a Liverpool exhibition, and it is a product that fans will be able to come to in a strategic location in Singapore and learn about the history of the club and see some of the trophies and medals we've won, to give people here a chance to interact with the club when the players aren't here."
And in keeping the clubs presence in the region, Liverpool are developing a programme that will engage both local coaches and fans.
"It's part of a bigger programme to build a franchising network of coaching, academy and soccer school-type programmes," said Ayre.
"But that part is in its very early stages at the moment, so it will take some time to roll out."
