Liverpool hope both Martin Skrtel and Nabil El Zhar will be fit in time for the new season after both players underwent scans yesterday.
Skrtel and El Zhar limped out of Wednesday's friendly with Thailand and flew back to England while the rest of the squad travelled to Singapore for the second leg of their pre-season tour.
Scans have revealed Skrtel has suffered a hamstring strain and will be out for up to three weeks, while El Zhar has sustained a medial ligament sprain to his right knee and faces up to four weeks on the sidelines.
Both Xabi Alonso and Yossi Benayoun successfully came through a training session in Singapore last night after recovering from ankle injuries. They should both be available for tomorrow night's game.
Glen Johnson will not be available, however, as he continues to recover from an achilles injury.
