Saw in another forum that espn reported that Pool bid for Villa with the proceeds from the sale of their NHL club???
i will never believe !!!!
How much $$$ Valencia want is anybody guess , they asking way too much for our budget .
If i am not wrong ... the sale of NHL is meant to recover those loans for the purchase of Liverpool .
I think we are left with about £22 million pounds aftre Glen Johnson .
If Arbeloa sold for £7million to RM , still has got a long way to get Villa .
Think Valencia asking something like £40m minimum for Villa .
Seba Leto sold for £3million .... unless we sell Xabi Alonso for £30m , then we got a chance for Villa .
Villa would be a very good signing for us.
But considering the amount he's been slapped with, we could maybe try and get Eto'o?
they are gonna get a new loan package from the banks and i think maybe pool might be allowed abit more cash? i definitely hope that the sale of nhl club is a sign of commitment that Gillett is making towards liverpool.

Good idea.
I hope can sign Villa. It would be wonderful news to LFC.

u bet. if valencia want to sell, dunno what they doing, one moment sell, one moment dun sell, the highest bidder will buy villa, no 2 ways about it.
its an auction war.

its an auction war.
We shall see. Man U had better find capable replacements for Tevez and Ronaldo and their aging superstars. Man U's future looks dark. Also Sir Alex will probably retire in a few more years.
Rafa strategy also good ... let the auction war go ahead without Liverpool .
And he can focus on somebody else like when he signed Fernando Torres . Quietly signed Torres without much speculations .
Until Real Madrid announce they have got their players , and STOP ! Then Rafa will react to the market .
Now every agent is like saying : " Rafa , u better pay this much , or else Real will outbid you ."
Now the market is dominated by Real (like Chelsea few years back) no point joining the rush. Secretly look for potential players and sign at cheaper price is much better.
RM spoil market only lah, i can see the english team are waiting for RM to stop buying then they go in and start to scrap for leftover. nevertheless, RM will not be sucessful even though they got the best players in the world, team work is still very important.
