Liverpool Football Club have reportedly make an offer for Alvaro Negredo.
The Spanish striker was initially sold by Real Madrid to Almeria in the summer of 2007, but they have an option to take him back to the Bernabeu for £4million.
Reports in Spain suggest they will do just this and then immediately look to sell with, and it has been claimed that Rafael Benitez has already registered an interest to sign Negredo for £6million.
The Reds boss, though, will be careful not to get in any messy negotiations with Florentino Perez’s side, due to their interest in Anfield midfielder Xabi Alonso.
