it's all about Rafa ... he is afterall , the mastermind behind all this ....
he emphasis too much on fatigue and energy ...
he feared that the players might be burnt out before the seasons end .
tat's why we see very much the likes of El Zahar , Lucas , Insua and those fringe players in for those matches against midtable club like WBA , Boro , Stoke , Sunderland where we lost points .
As for against Newcastle , i really hope Rafa can try out Babel on his favourite centre forward position alongside Torres .
I don't want to be like Juventus , to lose Thierry Henry to Arsenal , and make Henry a legend at Arsenal .

u will nver know anything could happen in the match. i really hope owen could trash his former team, especially in front of rafa
always depending on steven gerrald could do u no use rafa, u should buy a midfielder that could replace him. plus will steven be loyal to liverpool n stay there forever??

It's not a difficult decision to make .
Especially if Hyypia want to continue playing ...

Does Newcastle really cannot 'Leap' out of the relegation zone for this year's EPL? I'm sure Shearer will make miracle happen for the last 3 games..... O.o

even at hyypia's age, he still has a lot of contribute in term of composure and reading of the game. he might move slower but he can easily steal the ball from speed demons like lennon or rooney. his towering presence will be missed when defending set-pieces.
i still salute him for forsaking his captaincy without kicking too big of a media fuss. and gave it to gerrard so that the latter would be more enticed to stay.
hope the reds would give this legend a grand testimonial match at the end of the season.
