an in form drogba is too much for liverpool to handle. as much as i dont like his face, he has been the reason why chelsea could still qualify for semi-final even after conceding 4 goals.
as least liverpool did not walk away without a fight, even without it's captain.
defensive mistakes aside, i've enjoyed watching liverpool scoring without storres and gerrard.

i am glad i stayed up to watch the game. one of the greatest CL ties no doubt.
was cautiously hopeful at halftime but i think the keepers decided the tie this time round. both were `off form'. reina's first was a terrible lost of concentration. when alex scored a great 2nd, i thot reina could have done better if he's better positioned. cech too was wobbly through-out. he conceded 7 goals in 2 matches at the bridge.
in the end, i thot 4-4 was a fair result. the tie was lost at anfield by the 2 headers. had those been better dealt with by liverpool, things could have been different.
alas, only the BPL to focus on. even this is dependant on man u slipping. however, i take heart in the fact that liverpool is firing on all cyclinders at will. even if we missed out this season, i think we will have a team that will truly challenge for the premiership next season.
we are on the right track.

well, just my two cents,
Poo's tatics was to try to pressure Chelsea in their penalty area, throw in as much balls as possible and wait for something to materialise. To be frank, there is no creativity at all from midfield. They were lucky to be 2-0 up.
2nd half, Chelsea took the lead, and charge.
How Reina let in the goal, only he knows for he destroys Pool's momentum, and given Chelsea the opening they needed.
Frankly, when I saw Torres sub, I tot Rafa's intention was to let this tie go and win score @ 3-2, it was pretty much over. Only later, did I realise it was 4-4. Was it Rafa's intention or Players' intention? Well, only Rafa's know.
But I felt if Gerrard plays, maybe, Pool may have done a miracle.
Lastly, again I stress, I hope that EPL title race can be won based on merits, and not some scums praying for injuries to other teams. Just can't stand such foolishness.

chelsea captain is suspended, but there is still alex and carvalho. if essien injured, there is still mikel. lampard tired, there is still deco. malouda injured, there is still kalou. drogba unhappy, there is still anelka.
who to replace gerrard? lucas?
