i suppose that is chelsea when the players are fit and in form. any one of the players can afford to fool around and there is still another star player to wipe his ass.
whereas for liverpool, the first and only XI are pretty much on the field. aurelio gone, dossena came in the make the same joke. dossena back, babel came in to make more jokes.
i am still curious what exactly went on in the second half. the reds came out with barely the sharpness and attitude they had in the first half.
to be fair, liverpool's defense was well prepared for open play. but they simply cannot deal with opponent who can head the ball well after hyypia's era. especially with terry, ivanovic and ballack around.
anyway, with chelsea and barca, followed by man utd in the path to win the championship league, i cant expect much with the liverpool that i am familiar with.
anything more is simply a bonus.

i wouldnt point today's downfall at lucas alone. if you put him aloneside with alonso and gerrard, he prob isnt competent enough but at least not as horrifying a few months back.
tho i still wonder why mash is not playing instead. he's prob given a week's leave to get over with the 6-1 defeat.

3.Absence of Mascherano ! Lucas is simply not there to muscle Chelsea's midfield ! Thus Chelsea can push Lampard and Ballack upfront .
Good enough to make Rafa how he thought of Lucas now ....
Good enough to push Benayoun into first team , if Kuyt don't contribute much after seeing Gerrard and Torres deadly marked by Essien .
Good enough to push non-scoring midfielder , people like Lucas into the bench .
Time to throw in players that scores .....

Firstly, Liverpool need a holding midfielder to defend.
Massi is the only guy that can do that.
As for creative midfield player, also only one Alonso.
Maybe that is why Ah Ben is chasing for Barry.
As for winger, Benny is like steven tan, super sub.
For Liverpool, no much of players that can score if Stevie or Torres are heavily marked.
Kuyt did not really come forward to make the difference.
My concern now is Ah Ben have to make a choice to save strength to fight next week or go full force against blackburn rovers.
Lucas is Ah Ben's pet as all of you know how Ah Ben dolled on his pet.
