English giants Liverpool are likely to play in Thailand on July 22, according to Football Association of Thailand boss Worawi Makudi.
The five-time European champions are to tour South-east Asia this summer, a region in which they have many fans, and will also visit Singapore and Hong Kong.
There could be one stumbling block, however, as Thailand want Liverpool to reduce their fee. "We would like them to reduce their fees because our country is hit by the economic crunch," Makudi said, according to the Bangkok Post. "Everything will be finalised by the end of this month."

Want to dig let them dig, but important thing is quality of opposition! Not our national team again, or even S League selection, they are not good enough. I have an idea, that is to get the Australian national team to play against LFC, at least they have some standard. But it may not be easy as agreement must be reached between FAS, Australia and Liv'pool.
Liverpool Football Club have confirmed they will play two games in South-East Asia this summer as part of their preparations for the 2009-10 season. | |

It's also a fantastic opportunity for the fans to witness one of the top sides in the Premier League, a league that is unrivaled here in Thailand. The experience that our players will receive from this game will help in the development of Thai football." it's like unless important then SSC allows it to be an exception case .
Saw the news earlier, price is $88 and $188. Expensive.
it's like the organiser will tell them : " Hey , Jalan Besar Stadium too small for Liverpool fans u know ? I expecting to fill the stadium . "
Like that la ..... hahahahah
To think I found it expensive when I paid $12 to watch Chelsea play.
