The guessing game over Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler will finally be ended by A-League newcomers North Queensland Fury on Wednesday.
A Fury spokesman said the 2009-10 debutants had scheduled a press conference regarding Fowler at Townsville from 11am (AEST).
North Queensland have been in talks with the former England international since he was released by English Premier League side Blackburn recently.
The 33-year-old visited Townsville last month to meet with coach Ian Ferguson and said he was "very impressed" with the club before returning home to London to discuss the move with his family.
Fowler also visited Australia in 2007 when he was on the verge of joining Sydney FC but the deal ultimately fell through.
i may yet go to an a-league match after all ;)
Possible also buying over the club .
fury is a new club in a-league ... if he buys the club i will become a supporter ;) ... robbie is the biggest player to come since dwight yorke who had a big impact on the beautiful game here ... hopefully 'god' will do even better ... luckily he didn't join sydney fc ... they are like chelski ... how i wish fury was a 2nd sydney team ...
