They may have one or two injury problems, but Newcastle were, to put it politely, ordinary in the Boxing Day defeat at Wigan.
Liverpool are miserly at the back and Robbie Keane has started to get his confidence back after scoring twice in the 3-0 stroll over Bolton. I can't see past an away win.
Verdict: 0-2

I think the team is getting used to each other playing style from tinkering that happened on this game.
Liverpool played well tonight.
But, it is funny when the cameraman tend to focus on the sulky face of Keane.
It seems like Keane have no friends as he is always seen alone at the back of the bench and not chatting with any team mates.
Hope he dun give up on himself.

impressive performance, particularly the defense. hope the return of skrtel doesnt upset the current momentum.
shay given had to be in his top form, else it would have been a double digit scoreline.

lol it could have been I think 7-1 at half time if not for shay.
but 2nd half just collapsed.

It's the same story of everything we touched turned into gold . Unlike Villa , attacked Arsenal like hell , no luck , 0-2 down , then FT 2-2 .
It's somehow the turning point of our season .
This could be the match that matter alot in May 2009 .
Look out for Man Utd ... they have a few games in hand .... if MU go on to win all matches , then they could be Top .

Rory Delap !! His throw-ins can be quite sicko for us .
Good time to meet them .... Stoke's Jaimaican Int'l , what's his name ? He just gave his skipper Andy Griffin a slap , that caused him a red-card .
A red-card for slapping his own team mate . Funny la .

Why no play Keane since he's on form, now ah Ben going to cool off his feet again.
Why can't we performed like what we did again West Ham or Stoke or Hull.
Anyway, its a good result consider the fact that Chelsea drew!

like i said, it was a "weird" game! at end of game, we had all 4 cb on the field; then there was babbel's "gifted" goal; and w/out given's numerous super-saves, it cld've been 10-1! :D
