There are rumours abt both players being earmarked by Rafa to beef up the striking options; and this cld happen as soon as January as both are available on the cheap!
Given a choice, do u tink either or both wld be good additions to the squad for our charge towards the title?

seriously, michael owen is a has-been... furthermore, don't forget he bailed out on the club a few years back... as for heskey, i think he still has something to offer - the physical presence in the opponents' penalty box

Owen has lost his touch already.
Heskey while doing well in Wigan will likely not be able to reproduce his scoring form if he went back to Liverpool. Reason being he won't be used as the target man but rather to draw defenders away from Torres.

If u think what Gary Mcallister can do during his twilight years , maybe we should welcome Owen back .

In Real Madird , Newcastle , the 2 mangaers did not know how to make full use of him . Under-use Owen .
Rafa can do it with Owen .
One condition if i sign Owen , injury time , no salary , , and no horse-racing and casino .
Still i don't think Owen is a good addition to our current squad , not that he no good , he can be a bad influence in Anfield , like Steve Mcnamanan.

After Heskey , Crouch can hardly take-over Heskey , Crouch has got height , but no speed , Heskey has got both height and speed .

it's no secret tat Rafa likes to deploy a target man.
having sold crouch off reluctuntly, and now looking at our scoring rates this season, i tink he shd be getting another target man soon; heskey looks the more likely option now!
other possibilities are jones (sunderland) and zaki (wigan).

Maybe heskey will be bought by RB, as he is strong and can help torres... bt owen? we do not nid him, as torres has shown to be much more skillful than owen and plus torres is younger...

dont forget owen scored two goals in the match against stoke. He has experience and is surely better in front of goal then keane.
