Home match agst Fulham @ 2300hr (live on Ch21).
Team news:
Gerrard likely to miss the game (no thanks to the FA). Torres is fit to start. Home-coming for Danny Murphy.
Fulham is on a good run and their away forms had been good this season - conceding only 4 goals so far.
Liverpool is still unbeaten at home and shd continue tonight. Torres shd start and I expect him to be on fire! Likely to partner Keane in absence of Gerrard. The rest of the team shd be more or less the same.

what kind of midfielder is lucas.
i would have change him out even before the half time whistle.

serious crappy performance. to say the passing was awful is an understatement.
not sure if it is due to international fatigue but without steven gerrard, the team has little desire to win except for torres.
the central midfield role is too big of a boot for lucas.

agreed, wat exactly is benitez tinking by putting leiva and masherano together as the CM pairing? 2 defensive MFs would nvr win a game for LFC... just look hw alonso made an impact after he came on.. i tink the fault shud fall squarely at RB for losing this 2 impt pts due to his misjudgement
in addition, y did he even take masherano off instead of leiva? plus he took off both kuyt and riera who are obviously quite effective for babel and n'gog?it doesn't make any sense, maybe can someone here enlighten me?

If Liverpool win tonight, they top the table.
They did not give a damn performance tonight and deserved to be booed off the pitch.
Lucas is ineffective to holding the midfield or passing the ball to the striker.
Keane and Torres was off-tune and cannot connect.
Ah Ben is back to his habit of tickling and paying the price again.
If I am in Anfield, I will kick the ass of all the players.
I will save the biggest kick to Ah Ben.

If u looked at their formation when defending , is like 7-2-1 ....creating like an umbrella formation , to defy any attack into the box .

talk about keane, which was nonexistent today, still waiting for the team to fit his style without vice versa.
he makes good runs but sometimes way too deep. many critical passes end up behind him rather than in front.

There could be a storm brewing for El Niño as Jimmy Bullard accuses the Spaniard of butting John Pantsil.
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has been accused of deliberately head-butting an opponent in the wake of the Reds' frustrating home draw with Fulham on Saturday.
During the course of that goalless encounter, Torres was involved in an altercation with Ghana international John Pantsil.
The Spaniard appeared to walk into the back of his marker, provoking a clash of heads.
Television replays showed the incident to be little more than accidental, but Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard was not convinced.
Bullard accosted Torres at the end of the game, becoming embroiled in an unsavoury slanging match, as he felt the ex-Atlético Madrid captain was guilty of a deliberate head-butt.
The Cottagers will not be pursuing the matter any further, but Bullard is still seething at what he perceived to be violent actions on the part of El Niño.
He told the press: "I just felt he had head-butted John and I wasn't happy that someone had done that to one of my team-mates.
"But we're not making anything of it; it happens.
