Hey guys, any comment on Robbie Keane's performances so far?.....
Personnally i would have kept crouch and spend the millions on Garath Barry, whom i feel would make pools a better team~
Keano is taking too much time to settle down for the price we paid 4 him, he is not scoring, and worst not contributing much to the team effort. theres a few games where i wonder where he was and though that liverpool was playing with 10 man !!! Againt Stoke he was yet again hopeless, sighz,,,, I hope he can live up to the price Benitez paid 4 him real soon man.
I prefer Liverpool get David Villa.
For Barry, he is to bought to replace stevie if stevie decided to rebel against Ah Ben.
As for Keane, I guess it have to blame it on the jinx of Number Seven.
He is a lone striker and will be a high order to ask him to support Torres.
He will be the next Kuyt, work hard, obedient but goal-less.
Keane is decent alright. The onus is for Rafa to deliver the right combination and so far it's stuttering as it always has been.
Liverpool was a team of character when it won championships. Liverpool of present time is not made up of those. Liverpool will not win anything and neither can it claim to be the top whatever-number, when it does not have a stabilizing presence.
Verdict: Still in the heaps of ashes.
i wouldnt want barry because pools midfield is strong enough --- gerrard, alonso, mascherano, lucas. i believe it can match chelsea's midfield. their wing now makes up of babel ( who can cut in and score on his strong right foot ) and reira ( looks good as of recent matches ) benayoun is quite good too.
i think its just that pool arent just playing like champions do. they have the squad to win the title but they just cant win matches when they should, like against stoke recently
jinx of no.7 shirt?
it's more the burden; give him time!
If Keane fare better than what we've seen , this topic never exist really .
I am not yet ready to throw in the towel so early of the season .
As usual,we are still lacking the creativity.
Babel and Riera are still ok.
Please do not play Kuyt on the wings again.
And yes,i still think Robbie Keane is too over priced.
its Robbie Kewell la..
haha..
anyway he nids abit more time bah..
he seems to like to drift to e attacking 3rd, left side, when Pool is atk'ing..
maybe is due to lack of support from e left-back aka Dossena
at tottenham, he is the captain and he has big responsibilities. now at pool he has a new role and he needs time to adapt
