The scary truth is that Liverpool team have not gel and the 20 million new guy is not performing and a potential flop.
As for Liverpool, they really need to get another winger as they keep pumping the ball into the central position.

Your 20 million pound man haven justified even 1/20 of his price tag yet ... Haven watch the game much but there was one part he and Torres went for the ball and ended up blocking Torres' shot which was goal-bound lol

I think the blocking part is for last week game.
Keane may have got the kengster virus.
He is more or less stagnant within the six yard box and did not assist play like Torres.
In simple terms, he is useless at the moment.
As for wing play, Liverpool was unable to operate along the two wings.
They pump the ball to the center and the players congest towards the center.
They did not improve at the moment.
A big worry for the fan after two matches.
Poolman also never put up the match topic any more.

Anyway to me, its important to play pretty and win but like Man U and Chelsea, play badly and still win, that is a hallmark of teams who will challenge for the title at least.

Ya men , not to our normal standard ...
First half was bad .
Second half a little bit better .
Mido's shot was good , the scoreline make Liverpool looked even bad .
we from there , push Boro to the limit .... mc corners after corners , free-kicks after free kicks .
So our determination pay off la , without showing our true character , the 2 goals never arrived .
3 points is what i want , the rest i not interested .
6 points for 2 games . Good start .

I observed that the rest of the EPL teams have also improved for the 1st two game, especially for stoke city.
There will be more competition this year as more players are using the middle table team as a entry to the EPL.
Cisse scores on his debut for Sunderland.
It will be interesting to see him and diouf play against the reds.

i watched this match yest. seriously, still the same problem, lack of creative wingers. yossi and kuyt can be played as wingers but they are not so much of creative and procession. i find liverpool playing style nowadays very dull type. keep pumping the ball to midfielders wont get the whole team anywhere.
i am a fan of liverpool, and it's so irrirating to see them playing this way.
A. Arbeloa - very bad performance this season, he was ok still in the previous one. i donno what had got into him. rating i give will be 4/10.
X.Alonso - not bad though, but somehow, i think that the trasfer saga he's facing now is effecting his performance on the field, he is still considered world class, but still need abit of improvement.
rating will be : 6.5/10.
