i met sammy lee in anfield once when he went to the coaching role soon after his playing days were over. did the anfield tour then. i remember it was international weekend that saturday, england/italy friendly. he was there with a bunch of youngsters in anfield. very short fella but very friendly guy.
he shook hand with me. but i forgot to take picture.
it's unfortunate his manager's career in bolton didn't work out but i hope he will land the asst. manager post in liverpool.
