actually, when i dwelve into it, i think hicks has got a point.
what d'ya think?
Non-sense !!!!
If Parry a disaster , then the Football League would not have appointed him as CEO before he arrived at Liverpoool .
Without Parry , i cannot imagine getting the UCL with Rafa .
Hicks a sucker , cos he has no support from the board .
Apparently , i think , Parry has been trying to ousted Hicks from the Board .
from a commercial standpoint, i wonder why liverpool cannot get bigger sponsors than carlsberg, for e.g. i recalled reading some time ago that the amount paid by carlsberg pales in comparison to the other big3 clubs. that i tend to agree with hicks.
Hicks may have his own personal reasons for wanting Parry out & probably doesn't really care if he has done a good job or not, but make no mistake Rick Parry is a walking talking joke.
Rick Parry is personally responsible for us missing out on the signings of Daniel Alves, Simao Sabrosa, Nemanja Vidic and Florent Malouda. All four were supposed to be at Anfield but Parry dragged his heels as usual & we ended up missing out.
Let's not forget the whole debacle of Gerrard's transfer request in 2005. That whole saga arose because instead of getting Gerrrard to sign a new contract straight away after the Champions League final, Parry decided to go on holiday instead. Gerrard felt the club didn't want him & so handed in a transfer request.
I cannot believe there are still some people out there that actually think he is a good CEO, whilst all our rivals have expanded commercially we have stood still, and it shows when it comes to transfer budgets. I really thought it was common knowledge everywhere just how useless he was.
I hope you don't mind but I'm going to shamelessly plug my site here, www.kopworld.co.nr
If this is a problem could the admins just remove these last couple of lines of my post, thank you.
