Rafa will rest most players played on Wednesday for this match and focus on the UCL 2nd leg .

riise is getting a lot slower and sharper in front of goal these days.
nevertheless, a very impressive performance from the liverpool's reserves, plessis in particular. composed with the ball and always know what to do next. the rest of the team work equally hard to deny arsenal from playing their usual passing game.
it should have been 3-0 if not for the poor finishing.

liverpool is playing quite well.. maybe its cause they have less at stakes for EPL thats y they ve less pressure. i also find that liverpool can interchange alot of different formations/combinations because they have many players.

arsenal has been trailing in their games lately. thus, if liverpool ditch any complacency in the second half, the game is theirs to win.
gunners is going to work twice as hard to find the equaliser and winner. hopefully, this will drain their stamina from tuesday's game.

peter crouch was playing well. i dont understand why cant rafa just sub torres for pennant. crouch could easily provide torres with so many knock down to run at.

I think Benitez might just decide to tinker in the return leg after seeing what Crouch can do to Arsenal, if last season hat trick wasn't enough.
