Rumour has it that Arsene Wenger's notoriously efficient scouting network has led him to a little gem from Bordeaux by the name of Henri Saivet.
The 17-year-old striker has already made his debut for Les Girondins and apparently Monsieur Wenger wants to add him to the Emirates kindergarten as quickly as possible.
However, I'd like to think that one of Rafael Benitez's most important - and yet least recognised - achievements as Liverpool boss has been to build a scouting network and youth set up to rival Le Professor's. I would be surprised therefore if Saivet hasn't appeared on the radar.
Okay Wenger's forte is luring France's best young talent to London, while Benitez rules the roost among the Spaniards. But the rule isn't set in stone.
Having seen the way Saivet runs amok against Spain in this video I'll be expecting to see Liverpool among the chasing pack when the kid becomes too big for his Bordeaux boots.

Very impressive player based on what i see in the video, plus he is one of the must buy player in FM08 so lets get him in to liverpool!!
Hmm..Quite impressive,from the video.
I am always rather skeptical when it comes to scouting french players.
Which Liverpool supporter can ever forget our "Zinedine Zidane" Bruno Cheyrou?
