Fresh from yesterday’s defeat at Old Trafford Rafa Benitez is keen for some players with that creative ability to provide ammunition for the likes of Fernando Torres to fire, hence the latest rumour
Liverpool are ready to offer Jermaine Pennant in their bid for Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Bentley in a £12m swoop (The People)
Sounds like an interesting deal. Mark Hughes seems keen to keep hold of the former Arsenal man who is practically an assist making machine. Will this swap do the trick, I am not sure. I think the cash element of the deal may have to be quite hefty. However imagine how many more goals El Nino could manage with someone other than Steve G providing the killer pass!
i remember him as a young fella rejecting the chance to play for his country . For the Under-21 la ......
Not bad la this fella .... powerful , fast and possessed an enormous shooting power , and his free kicks !
Wah 12 million like bo hua leh.... plus jermaine pennant somemore
we like arsenal rejects dont we
not a bad deal.. but 12 million seems a bit too much...
i wouldn't mind...
i hate tis guy, he has no integrity one! cos he encourage foul play in BPL.
I would prefer Pedersen.
Since Harry Kewell seems more or less destined to leave at the end of the season, our left side would be empty.
And please, please do not tell me that John Arne Riise will be taking over that slot.
siao..
12m plus pennant too much la
he scored the hat trick against Man U...i think 12mil to Pennant is reasonable, hes a English youngster afterall...
HOWEVER...Quaresma would be much cheaper if Porto got relegated, or wait awhile more for Joaquin to say "i wana go Liverpool!"
