  I know that it cannot and shouldn't. What i am trying to understand is that... married or attached going stray is known as unfaithful then what about the person who is not attached or married going with one who is known as???

  not becos they are scared of being flamed or chided, but becos the normal moral mature human does not get into a proper reln (not fling) thinking that they will, or want to stray. correct me if i'm wrong, i still do have a little faith in today's people.

  err.. why did i do it ?? kinda hard to explain.
  i tell u one thing, my own experience is ... never let your b/f or g/f be close to your friend.
  i mean.. at first it was only me and him sharing our probs with our own b/f and g/f (they're also our friends). everyday called each other and more and more each day we got coser and closer and all i knew was ... we began to like one another. and more and more each day the feeling was getting worse. i even broke up with my b/f.
  
  it's a bad thing. so better stay away from an attached person.
