Hmmm... sometimes u dun really dun how to appreciate pple when they r not around anymore..... do come in here n do a shoutout to those pple u miss alot.....
I will miss my lecturers n classmates alot after graduation....miss my primary skool classmates....none of which i m still in contact with.....miss u guys....
n also miss Qoosofttoys who is missing in action again...lolz
was inspired by an email i got this morning from my lecturer.....
Hi everyone,
It have been a long struggle for me for the past 3 years since I was
diagnosed with this terrible disease. My love for teaching have been greatly
affected though I tried means and ways trying to adapt the constaint of my
physical changes. I have succumbed to a point where I cannot perform my duty
effectively. Dispite my illness, X was kind enough to engage me for
your class for the past one year. You have also been very understanding over
my disabilities which I sometime felt that I've not provided you enough.
With these, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Especially to Justin,
Emil, Jason and those whom help ferry me back and fore my car and classroom.
The good news came to me very suddenly on Sunday evening that I've managed a
place for a stem cells transplant procedure in China. My friend and I tried
very hard to secure a spot for me in that hospital for the past 7 months.
Stem cells transplant procedure is relatively new and the result may vary...
I may come back walking or still on wheelchair or... in a box. Whatever the
outcome were... I have no other alternative.
I am leaving this week (Thursday or Friday midnite flight)to Beijing for 5-6
weeks.
I am now filled with mixed feeling with sudden flashes of my past life...
fear, happiness and sadness. Fear not of death but for my family, love ones
and friends. Happiness for a glimps of hope. Sadness for the sudden
departure.
With this, I bid all of you farewell and thank you for being part of my
life. Work hard, graduate and good luck in conquering the outside world!!

Missing someone is hard...painful...a long fruitless wait at times....
if i can be serious for a moment...i miss a secondary skool fren who had leukaemia n left this world quietly 2 years ago.
Life was never e same after u left.
Maybe we can change the tittle to show ur appreciation thread???

I just found out recently that one of my good friend's mother had cancer....so poor thing -

Sometimes,e pain of someone leaving us is so great that we grief for a long period of time.... be it because of that person going overseas...or the fact that you too are no longer able to tolerate each other etc....or when God decides to take them away..... e truth is...a part of that person will stay with us forever.... n e memories will be engraved into our hearts n never forgotten.... we have to move on after that no matter wat because u know that no matter wat...they will want u to be happy in e end.New pple will come into our lives but we must not forget those old acquintances...n cherish those that we have around us today.....
Miss u guys....Oceanos,MeowSusan, KFdugong,Waliao,Qoosofttoys n all those in LOA.... u guys have been absolutely fantastic

i miss a pastor of my church who passed away, he's always there to show care and concern for me. i miss my neighbour who died of cancer, she always cooks good food and bring some over, never fail to lend a helping hand whenever it's needed.. I miss my aunt who also died of cancer.. was greatly motivated by her spirit, she set a good example -- strong-willed and faithful..sigh.. miss all of them..
have to treasure those ard me now! -

Not tat I dun like to miss someone.. But I do think the only way is to make up for lost time is to go forward.... Dun look back & regret wat u miss.. Looking back, you may miss more.....

My mother's friend died of cancer last year. This lady was her friend's relative and lives in Perth, where I am currently studying. Her son is also in the same university as I. She was a really nice person and helped me quite a bit during my first semester here. I remember when she was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer, I was vacationing back in Singapore. She passed away three months later. Her funeral was also on the same day as my father's anniversary. Both were struck down by the same illness.
