  i was walking along the tourist strip in Gold Coast and the vendors started ranting at me in Japanese...
  
  so i said: "what the hell are you trying to say to me?"
  
  they were stunned and then broke out laughing
  
  they didn't try to rip me off after that

  Seller : $ 20, cannot bargain n blah blah blah..
  Ratty : huh ? mahal amat. nggak mau ah. kasih $5 (+/- Rp. 45.000), baru gue beli. (huh ? very expensive. dun want. $5, then i'll buy)
  S : nggak bisa, barang bagus nih. $17, mau gak ? (cannot leh, it's a good stuff. $17, u want anot ?)
  R : nggak deh. nggak usah (no lah..dun want).. then /walk away..
  later on he'll call u back..
  S : $15, mau nggak ?
  /keep walking away..
  S : $12
  /still walking away n getting further..
  S : $ 7..mau gak, wooiii !!!
  /turn ard. and still bargain for $6.
  
  hehe..dunno if this work. it does for me sometimes..

  but gotta see the sellers also..
  some are very fierce, once u bargain, they could swear u like hell, in that case, i better leave the place..
