  problem rectified by drinking only canned or bottled beer

  roadside stalls r rumored to use rainwater or drain water to make ice cause they r too poor to make ice outa bottled water n their water pipes r not tt clean eithr. this is wat a local told me....
  
  go buy sunblock tt is also a mossy repellent.saw b4 bt cnt remember wat brand.

  yes samui.... anothr filthy plc..... do u knw thers no proper refuse disposal in the island? they jus pile up everythg in an empty plot somewhr in the middle of town n lets it rot.....

  also another strange thing.. everyone there seems to have a satellite dish for their tv.. and broadband through the sat. dish...

  ended up eating mostly at this establishment run by angmohs (didn't even know angmohs ran the place until they appeared to talk to the customers)...

  aiyoh..chicken makes Bali seemed like a filthy place and Balinese were rude..
  well..those rude ppl most aren't Balinese.
  i also dislike the way they talk dirty and kinda offering themselves to the tourists (prob. they're gigolo or something ).
  
  but hey..i ate n drink anything i could eat there, even the one that sold on the street..hehe..i'm used to it..
  been living in jakarta for ages..makes Bali really like a paradise to me..

  btw, ratty...dun buy those aerosol spray type of insect repellent...the irritating custom officer confiscated my bottle...humph! buy those pump ones are ok...

  well its not say filthy lah bt u been to sg n u see how we've been programmed to live.... im kinda ok with it lor.. jus the trash n mossy problem was vry obvious wen i went ther... had to keep the mossy coil burng in my rm full time....
  
  well i noticed that the souvenir touts wer not all balinese.some wer frm nepal 2.... i was cussed by a balinese one.... my guide translated wat he said...
  
  wel i liked the surf n the beaches.. my guides n frens are balinese n their very nice people so im not sayg tt bali is not a nice plc bt every silver lining has a cloud...

  hmmm..i din know that Bali has become that errr..dirty (w/ the trash n mossy prob). last time i came (prob. it's a long time already) it's not that bad. must say that if u used to live in a neat country like sg, u wouldn't like indonesia. yeah..must admit we got those problems
  
  dunno abt the souvenirs stuff, they prob dun offer to locals. and usually they also gv high price to tourists, so u hv to bargain. if they dun gv, just walk away, they'll call u back if they agree w/ ur price.
