went to bugis today... and was shopping ard....
stepped into the silver accessories shop on level 1...
quite engrossed at the ear-rings and stuff... then heard this person saying "sumimasen, blah blah blah" (note, i can only understand sumimasen..
)
my first thot is to tell them that i'm not a sales person there...
then when i listened more clearly, they were asking if i'm a jap...
i said no... and they asked if i can speak nihongo... i was like no lor... even thou i'm taking jap lessons now, but i still can't understand what he's talking abt... then he continued, u r chinese, i was like yah...
so i continue looking at the things...
i walk to the other side of the shop and saw them again... this time, the guy damn impressive seah... ask me "ting bu dong", i say yah, and quickly walk away from that shop liao...
machiam like ji tong ya jiang like that...
i speak eng, they dun really understand... he speak jap, i dun understand... hai... -
