Gf taller than bf?

I believe this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find it anywhere....
Do you all think it is all right for a gf to be taller than his male counterpart? I got a friend who's is short and fat (like a potato).. Sometimes I feel sad for him for I think it is quite difficult for him to find a girl that is shorter than him..
This might explains why he can't get a girlfriend...
