  This comes from my own analysis...
  
  Teams with FIFA World players are likely to win or do well in major tournaments...
  
  World Cup 94 - Brazil vs Italy (Romario & Baggio, though Romario got the award after it)
  
  Euro 96 - Germany (this one I don't know)
  
  World Cup 98 - France vs Brazil (Zinedine Zidane & Ronaldo, Zidane got it afterwards)
  
  Euro 00 - France vs Italy (Zinedine Zidane)
  
  World Cup 02 - Brazil vs Germany (Ronaldo & Rivaldo)
  
  Euro 04????? - France??? Zinedine Zidane???

  of course. good players are not just technically gifted, they are great influence to a team. usually, they'll be able to lift a team a level up.
