now it's rumours...Originally posted by HIRA:There are rumours that..

2. The car with higher level has a slight boost in pick-up
This is what i have read before please don't flame me...![]()
Yeah this is what I heard/read too. Some guys I tried to challenge refuse me just because they believed that this is true. I was only lvl12 and they were 6 or 7. Anyway I don't really feel that much of a difference in battle or TA. So I guess it's trash. Unless someone can get confirmation from Segarosso.Originally posted by HIRA:There are rumours that..

yo relax... it IS a fun game and i suppose the dissect it no more than ppl who play resident evil or para para talk about their game and the moves to make.Originally posted by bismarck:hengster///dont bother responding anymore lah. he takes pride in this kind of game that doesnt mean a thing in real life. seriously speaking i prefer the fact that u are working in a racing team or something....
well thats true but its no fault of the game really. i was once hooked too so i can tell u it Is fun. the fault lies in that some of the kids who play start thinking that its like that in real life, not remembering that u can't hit guardrails in real life. anyways most of them wouldn't dare drive like that either. they see the guard rail come at them in real life, and their balls shrink. but HIRA is cool. he knows its a game. he's said before that he is interested in it as a game because its fun and because he likes the anime.Originally posted by HaYasHiBaRa:HHmm... I think its the shifting. Nothing to do with the Level.
Bismarck : Hahaha. Yeah. There's a line between a game and the real thing. I hate kids talking big about knowing so much on racing and cars. They even disseminate which car is better... Hahaha. In fact, there's no better car or sort. I feel that its driver's preference. If he thinks its a good car, its a good car.
well.... u missed me driving a car last sat. took khid's car around the carpark. um... i thot i was kinda slow but khid didn't think so.Originally posted by bismarck:i mean there's someone who goes round showing off his auras.
real racers dont even need to show...so damn obvious...natural auras
hmm yes the heeling and toeing is so much fun! sad that an essential feature of takumi's driving cannot be replicated in ID, but i think if they did a lot of ppl wun be driving well. i agree about it being hard for begainners to grasp. well for me, i have no problems with using both legs for braking. i am able to left foot brake when appropriate, such as trimming cornering speed, and right foot brake, such as for entry to a corner, when u need to downshift. also, practice heel and toe for entry to corners, its useful. personally, i can do monza and even sukuka using the manual H box, but I always prefer to use the sequential shifter, due to habit. my speciality track is long beach. love racing there. anyways, if u're on for it, why not we meet up someday to have a few rounds and exchange pointers?Originally posted by HaYasHiBaRa:Heng@ : Yes. I love F355! Especially the clutching and shifting! Its so much more realistic compared to IDAS. But too bad its hard for beginners to grasp, hence IDAS being more popular. I'm only learning Suzuka Short now. Haven't progressed to the Full track yet. Hope to have some enlightenment on this. Can't really shift properly, but I fixed the left leg clutching and right leg for braking and accelerating problem already.
np dude. like i said, u're cool. its those kids that are annoying, and turning me off ID.Originally posted by HIRA:cool HENG, thanks for understanding...
Yeah Impreza WRX, there was such a thing in version 2 where the one with the lower level got the boost in pick-up, but it was repaired with a patch (i remembered reading something about it lol).....anyway nowadays there is this aura bug in version 3....my green aura only appears as a weird flickering blue on the opponent's screen (like between blue and green)....so oso not much of a big deal...lol
haha yeah i encounter them all the time...they always talk big, they are little gangsters who will grow up to be a problem to society...(i was once a small-time troublemaker myself, but i have changed)...i usually try to challenge them so i can shut them up..Originally posted by HENG@:np dude. like i said, u're cool. its those kids that are annoying, and turning me off ID.

well that game, like he said, is not easy to pick up. i picked it up fast probably because of my circuit racing experience, esp my experience in learning unknown circuits.Originally posted by HIRA:hehe i play that game buang almost every turn....at least BG3 easier to get the hang off..lol
i lost to HIRA a few days back at ps...my altezza vs his GDBOriginally posted by HENG@:cool. make them see the name "HIRA" only, quake in their ah beng slippers.![]()
haha nice game.......try not to use ur altezza to challenge others on shomaru though...it's pretty lame.....unless you are really pissed off with the other guy or he lames u first....Originally posted by JJxJJ:i lost to HIRA a few days back at ps...my altezza vs his GDB![]()

mmmm it depends on how u take the corners. try monza because its a nicer circuit to train at. basically, u brake into the corners, go lightly on the throttle as u start turning in, clip the apex, then nail it. point and squirt. well years of playing daytona makes me comfy shifting with left or right hand. like i said, im quite versatile, i am comfortable shifting with either left or right hand, and comfortable braking with either left or right foot. for tracks like monza and suzuka, its fine with the H box, but seriously, long beach is so tight that u do not have time to shift, and u really have to concentrate on your lines. still its fun. hey why not we meetup one day? i can give some pointers on how to play 355.Originally posted by HaYasHiBaRa:Hahaha. Anyways, I'm a noobie to F355. No pointers to exchange with me. Hahaha. I can clutch and trim speed and corner effectively, but I can't seem to shift the gear into the right slot. Always fumbling there... it can't go in and I'm at Neutral and the car berserks out! Guess I'm not used to right hand shifting.Never used the paddle shift, like it more realistic with the clutch and stick.
But I know its a major rule not to flatten the throttle out on corners. Hahahaha! Terrible mistake if I did so... I slowly depress and I also don't turn my steering wheel totally. Don't know how to explain why I don't do so, but I feel its essential to control the throttle and steering. Car's very sensitive. If I turn totally even with a lower speed, the car will still under out or just oversteer.
And BG3! Yeah! This is the only game where I dare to heel & toe effectively! Works great! My timing on Akina Downhill (Dreadnaught) course is 3:19 using the AE86 Trueno Mecha Tuned. I love the details for the game, the tacho and stuff...
