how to drive AE86

hello everybody,
i am quite new to the game and i had watched the cartoon many
years ago. i am so mountain tortise to only realize recently that
there is such game around
anyway, bought the TRUENO GT-APEX(tune A) and currently still
learning how to drive the car.
now i had cleared both MYOGI (2 stars) and USUI only
i had
been practising hard but seems to be unable to improve.
can any of you who is expert on this car give some tips to a novice
like me?
for example, how to drift this car? also, how can i get more stars
on my card???

oh is it
i didn't realize that? so how should i further improve myself?
my current AE86 had changed to the new engine with the
12x rpm. -
racing cannot be taught. only learnt thru experience. just play more and dare to experiment with diff ways of driving yah?

No, not timing, i'm saying lining. Wrong position on the wrong side of the road will lead to increase in distance covered which also mean more time need to negotiate the corners.Originally posted by HENG@:lining?

So lining is also very important. Once you have lining, then practice more on increasing your speed on cornering and etc etc.

professional term is to call it "watching your racing line" haha... not lining ah... i thot u talk about some jacket or blanket lining.
Yah, racing line is very impt. a lot of ppl dunno the proper line to take, so they cannot drive fast. -

ok lah... haha... i can teach proper line, but i need to meet u in person ah. not something i can just teach here. A very basic way of putting it is the Out-In-Out method, but theres more to proper line taking than that.
