Hi pple,
Need some advice on the Initial D Special Stage
I find it difficult to control the car smoothly using the controllers, especially at the corners. For some reason I always bang into the walls unless I slow my car down to a crawl (about 100km/h on average in Akina).
Its quite unlike the arcade where I can make a smooth turn using the steering wheel. Any of you guys experience this problem?
Will using the steering wheel for the game make this any better?

Hmm... i'm using steering wheels now and i find a great difference when comparing it to controllers. Definitely i should say, if not why bother getting a steering wheel if controllers are better. Haha. Okay, i believe there are experts here that can control their car well with controllers.

nope.. left or right, its only 90 degrees.

hi.. for me no prob with control but at first kinda not use as you say we use steering wheel in arcade. ok.. for controllers right.. you can only turn when you are near the bend and when you turn right.. you have to press left more if you're turning left and also press right a bit.. as to countersteer.. hard to explain here.. hope you understand

cars do not have a wheel turning angle of 90!!! wth? anyway the thing about contorllers is u can only turn max to left or right, instead of maintaining a small slip angle. get a wheel betterOriginally posted by brian:nope.. left or right, its only 90 degrees. -
Using your controller, you should try tapping it slowly instead of holding down the direction button.. in this way, you will be able to take the turn more smoothly.
