Hi, just got my O level results ytd. (EL=A1, SS/HY&EM=A2, AM,Phys and bio =B3) So my raw L1R4 is 11. I live quite near RP, so I was actually considering it in my 12 choices, but I've heard from many RP "isn't that great with PBL", and it's "meant for slackers"?
So I wanna ask those who are actually in RP, what it's like the PBL system and whether or not you can learn something worthwhile there because tbh I don't really wanna travel far in poly
dont be stupid.
wat u heard quite true
tts all i can say
RP is good w some courses, like tourism. Honestly if u considering engineering or business school, NP and SP will be a better choice. And your results are ok to be eligible for these Sachs. Don't let distance be a factor in deciding, go for ur interest.
Yeah I've heard NP has really good courses too! I guess I will try to apply for NP cos after reading up on the PBL system in RP, the fact that everyday got different topic/problem to discuss.... doesn't really appeal to me. (not enough time to really delve deep into the subject tbh)
Dont look down on RP students, i have that mindset too but i eat my own words after 3 yrs and now im graduating soon. PBL is good though, it deals with teamwork, no project other than FYP, no lecture. fixed school timing and an open book for most of ur module test.
Yes a lot of RP students graduate w good results and changed their view of RP. Apparently it really is a good poly for some
