PBL is good wah, teach you how to think. So that you can enage in problem solving skill, communication, team work...
But does not work for me sadly..

But at least no need to always do more worksheet (or do worksheet at home) and dry method (Needs to memorise during the test).
Now, for me in order to try get an A or B for daily garde, I tried to use encyploedia as my resources to solve each of problem statements.
i will say RP way of teaching is good...
teach you how to think....& not what to think....
if you know how to think then you will be able analyse things better...look things beyond the surface

You know Mr. Andy Sim?
He is my Year 2 Sem 1 faci.
He taught Physics for my class, is a famous faci in whole W5 (SAS Block) due to his unique teaching method.
In meeting 2, he goes through the ws answers together with an interesting way.
So, if you contribute in his lesson, I am assure that you would get at least a B, else A.
At the end, my class managed to do well for A203 module.

Haiyo!!! Every sem change class sial. Boring de, must make more new friends which I am not familiar with.
But luckily for this sem, most of them are from sem 1 so as to solve my boredom.
Year 2 is more unique than Year 1, always meet different groups of teammates as some of them take my core module as their elect/free-chosen module.
Sorry, i dun know Mr Andy Sim but knowing and grasping how to think is a vital skill all of us need to have
i have seen the lack of this among many people, including myself...hahahaha

But wonder how most of people manage to obtain more than 3 (or above 2.5) in GPA despite skipping from school. Should be because of UT?
For me, despite obtain almost all of modules, I still got 2.5. But I did not really do well for UT (though open book can help me alot to score well), I only chiong in daily class.
What are the modules you all Year 1 taking currently?

This i dunno...
all of u are in year 2? and under SAS?
Btw, those ppl who kept skipping sch and get good result is because they did very well for UT.. i have friends like that..
Coming from me, an RP student I'd say that RP's PBL system is a good way of learning only if you are a learner and not someone who goes to school just to get out of school at the end of the day.
It prompts you to think and like what Mr Milo say, it makes you think beyond the surface and see things not only at face value.
But the downfall is that it doesn't work for everybody lah. You have to learn how to speak and socialize in order to do well which I think is good learning platform when you go out into the society in the future.
