Guys, i need help.
What should i do if the teacher continue grading me a C?
Well, i have email him like twice telling the faci that the grade he gave me was ridiculous.
Nothing change, so i went to the module chair.
However the module chair told me that, he was not in the lesson, so he cannot base on what i told him and decide. Thus he ask me to go and talk to my facilitator
p.s i say its ridiculous because, i did all the work and presented well. My team mates who did nth(no offense) and they get A n B. -

There's this facilitators' evaluation what,maybe you use it then say why you shouldn't get C,but B or A lo.

Could be tio sabo by team mates. Don't underestimate them, you get sabo in RP very often.

isn't that faci comment on the student is about their daily grading and also how to improve? -

In RP, the main focus is on understanding. If they can't answer... obviously they don't understand.

Your own understanding only plays a small part leh. The faci is looking for the team discussion.
Even if I understand the thing, and never discussion hor, I'll still get C... -

oh yar.. they can answer cos i taught them ler. But most of e time when they are stuck answering for their slides, i'll help them. I guess it's the opposite that I've experienced... if got discuss and understand, your A will never go away. Never discuss... drop to B. Don't even understand... C. Me thinks newbie fac are wood blocks. If they see one-man show, sure get C. i give my team mates things to present and taught them the stuff.
So even e faci ask some question, they can answer it too.

erm..... about grading right, there is actually a BIG loop hole inside.
so far i have encounter facis, who gives As depending on ONE of the following factors :
Participation --talking in class, class discussion, asking the faci question.
team discussion --- as stated.
understanding -- able to answer questions posed by faci, with example to support.
presenation --- No cpoy and paste, short simple, to the point, use of pics and diagrams.
teamwork-- team members knows each other's work
leadership---first to start the discussion,engaging the team.
attitude-- as stated.
once you are able to identify your faci is which type, A won't be too hard. -

When come to faci evaluation hor, write all your complains about him.

do a test and try. next time u do everything swee swee show him you are working and present flawlessly. Then see what he grades you. If he still grades you unfairly, compare and contrast. If he refuses to admit it, report to module chair.

its depends how the faci grade u.. some, even if u do lot of work will get C, cos they wan see discussion and sharing of ideas

Participation - i did all of the above except for the class discussion because he nv do class discussion de..
Understanding - Well. im able to answer his question which i said in my previous few post. Well, for VB its hard to give examples. Thus i dint give any.
Presentation - the whole presentations i did are graphs and pics.
Team work - Yes. my whole team know each other works because i taught them
LEadership - im not leader for that day but i start discussion with e team
attitude - good attitude that day.

He likes to write compo for comments too. To some people only.
Yah about that evaluation.. I want to compaint but i missed it. lols

He is bias, u got to be firm when u speak to the module chair because they tend to trust their colleagues more.
