you can only change course at the end of each academic year after exam results are released. unfortunately, the new AY has started in April

my batch could apply to change course last year. if i am not wrong gpa must be 3.2 (sem1)and above to qualify. It depends on the course you want to get into to. But this year have a huge intake i guess the gpa must be higher now to qualify.

GPA is average. Do your sums like you do for average.
That is (A+B+C+D+E...) / X
where A, B, C, D, E... are your module grades, and X is the total number of subjects you've taken.
For a Year 1, the maximum would be 10.
So, X is 10.
Including Failed modules. -

That's my experience.
If all the while your grades are around A or B, you can be assured that your GPA will be above 3. -
So far my daily grades maintain at either A or B but my UT did quite badly...
