By the way, this Andrew guy claims he is a consultant.
I have been to his website, and seen him displaying proudly a letter from PSA confirming him as their external consultant.
Let me just put some things in perspective.- PSA has many high-value confidential systems. These are in-house systems that are high-value and will not be outsourced to external parties. Only less important systems are outsourced to external parties
- In PSA, a consultant is equivalent to a contractor, and these contractors are mostly indian programmers
- In PSA, an external consultant is never valued. They are only used for low-level, low-value jobs, and belong to the lowest point in the food chain
So in summary, if Andrew wants everyone to think he is something like a Deloitte or IBM Consultant, then I would like to correct the perception, because he is nothing more than a programmer. -
In my opinion, we haven't seen the last of the sub-prime woes and it's effect on the market.
Bernanke tries to perform some witchcraft economics by reducing interest rates during a credit crunch. Probably in response to China's incessant desire to maintain and undervalued RenMinBi. Lower interest rates during a credit crunch would fuel spending. Don't know whether his motive for monetary expansion is to prevent the US economy from going into a recession or to depreciate the US dollar against the RMB.

It is often caused by a sustained period of lax and inappropriate lending, which results in losses for lending institutions and investors in debt when the loans turn sour and the full extent of bad debts becomes known. These institutions may then reduce the availability of credit, and increase the cost of accessing credit by raising interest rates. In some cases lenders may be unable to lend further, even if they wish, as a result of earlier losses restraining their ability to lend. -

The problem started because housing loans were made to people with bad credit (people that banks won't lend money - thus sub-prime).
The lending institutions recklessly lend them money and gave them repayment terms like this... 1st 6 months, no repayment.... next 6 months, $200/- and so on and as time goes by, the repayment gets higher and higher.
So you see, as time goes by, more and more of these bad credit people will default on their payment.
As time goes by, it gets worse and worse (especially with plunging housing prices) until all the people with bad credit are weeded out of the system. -

It is indeed true that PSA treats you as a programmer if you are their external consultant.
If you have nothing to say to that, it is documented.
So far we have documented the following about you (since you are not able to explain yourself):
- You don't know anything about the Singapore property market
- You are a programmer and not a consultant
- You know nothing about sample sizes, probability and logic mathematics
You have nothing to say because I am using your definition of documentation, (ie open your mouth, say it, and that is documentation)
